Special Statement on Status of the Journals
| Dear Behavioral Community:
Welcome to the updated Behavior Analysis Online (BAO) Journals website. There are a number of changes that have taken place.
First, some of the journals have been undergoing transitions during the
past year. You will now find some changes to the organization of
the journals as reflected in the website. Specifically, some journals
are being merged with others on the basis of overlapping areas of concentration.
The active journals have current information about submissions and their
editorial review board.
The Behavioral Development Bulletin (BDB) now accepts manuscripts for special sections related to submissions that would previously be sent to the Journal of Early and Intensive Behavioral Intervention (JEIBI) and the Journal of Behavior Assessment and Intervention in Children (JBAIC). The journal will also have a special section on education. In addition, the Journal of Speech - Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis (SLP-ABA) and The International Journal of Behavioral Consultation and Therapy (IJBCT) continue to accept manuscripts related to their topical areas. Very shortly, you will also find that the future journal articles will be available in both the traditional format as a single-issue pdf file, and as single article pdf files to make navigation and downloading easier. We appreciate the interest and participation of the behavioral community in the ongoing quest to improve the quality of the journals. As the journals move forward, please share your input.
